Maybelline Color Show by Colorama - 265 Wine Shimmer

I went to one of the drugstores (Gratis) to get another Airbrush Concealer brush by Eco Tools (to use as a blending brush for my eyeshadows), and of course I had to check if there are any new interesting things there. I noticed Pastel, a local nail polish brand created their own "sand" line, but the colours on the display were nothing special. And then I saw a huge bin full of Maybelline polishes and had to take a look.

Most of the colours were dissapointing, but I saw this deep red with a lot of holo glitter and I thought it could be nice to have it - a nice, summery, fun red for the rare occasions when I actually wear red.

The bottle is pretty standard, contains 7ml of product. The brush is quite wide, it's not the best shape it could be, but it does the job.

I thought it would be a nice, deep red with a bit of something special (holo), but after the first coat I was very disappointed. I applied 3 coats and the colour is definitely not as deep as it seems to be in the bottle, there's a lot of pink to it and it's quite sheer.

The formula is ok, thin, but not too watery, it's easy to apply thin coats. It dries up pretty quickly, no complaints there. It doesn't chip much, after 3 days I could notice some tip wear, but nothing dramatic.

In direct sunlight
I wouldn't describe the colour you get on your nails as anything "wine" - I think it's more like cherry or even raspberry. Pretty, but not amazing. You can see a bit of the holo effect on the nails, nothing crazy, just pretty.

In the shade
It was 5TL, not a lot, if I find something interesting from that line I will probably try it.

Cena - ok. 8,50zł.
